Yoga Anatomy

Yoga is traditionally considered the ultimate union of body, mind, and soul. How to represent such an abstraction on paper?
Inspired by the methodical graciousness of the yoga practices, my perspective gradually opened beyond the physical dimension.
My work combines the disciplines of arts and science with the spiritual perspective.
Exploring Asanas (postures) through the depth of movement – alongside conscious balance, tension, and rest – our observation constantly shifts between the inner and outer, the detail and the whole, the form and the formless, allowing us to glimpse and contemplate the pure harmony of Yoga.

Artistic Anatomy

Every element of our body is part of a very complex and harmonious system.
My art is the expression of a comprehensive research of our components, representing through different media the countless details of inner motion, structure, and connection often undetectable to the human eye.
Investigating the mechanics of the movement, my drawings unveil the endless possibilities of the body’s dynamic flow.
The tiniest movement has an effect on our entire structure, which is reflected in the outside space as much as withing.
Even in apparent stillness, everything is in constant movement.
Artist anatomy teaches us to be patient, to slow down, and to humbly dedicate ourselves to in-depth exploration, asking ourselves who we are and how we are made.
